NMC FMGL Guidelines 2021 – Mandatory for MBBS Abroad
To practice medicine in India after completing MBBS abroad, students must ensure the university complies with NMC’s new FMGL (Foreign Medical Graduate Licentiate) Regulations:
The university must be recognized by WHO and NMC
Total course duration must be at least 54 months (4.5 years)
1-year mandatory internship in the same country and same university
The entire program must be in English
Student must obtain a license to practice medicine in the country of graduation
NEET qualification is mandatory prior to admission
